Criminal probe into Uber for use of software to evade authorities


May 5, 2017, 7:36 AM| The ride-hailing giant is being investigated by the Justice Department for using “Greyball” software to identify and dodge government officials who were trying to shut down Uber in areas where the service had not been approved. CBS news contributor and editor in chief of Wired, Nicholas Thompson, joins “CBS This Morning” to discuss the investigation.
